The 21st Regional Operational Performance Review (ROPR) of ER- 2 was held at NTPC Bongaigaon on 22nd May'23. Shri Ramesh Babu V. Director (Operations) inaugurated the review meeting in the presence of Shri Partha Mazumder, Regional Executive Director (ER-II), Shri Arindam Sinha, Executive Director (Operation Services). Business Unit heads of various stations of ER-II K S Sundaram, Executive Director (NTPC Talcher Kaniha), Shri Karunakar Das, Chief General Manager (NTPC Bongaigaon), Shri Ajai Kumar Tandon, Chief General Manager (NTPC Darlipali), Shri Tajinder Gupta, Chief General Manager, (NTPC North Karanpura) along with senior officials of CC-OS, RHQ-OS of all four Stations.Plant safety, environment, and performance parameters were reviewed in detail.

Prior to the ROPR , Shri Ramesh Babu V, Director (Operations) inaugurated the new Administrative Building and Safety Park. He also rewarded the contractual employees of different departments of the plant for their safety practices. He visited various areas of the plant like Ash Dyke, CHP, TG Hall, Unit Control rooms and interacted with the employees.

Later, addressing the employees and family members in an open house, Director (Operations) appreciated the green efforts of Bongaigaon and the vibrant energetic team. He emphasized that ER-2 Power Stations are the strong pillars of NTPC’s growth trajectory and have been fuelling the country’s power requirement 24x7.

A colourful cultural program of in-house and local talents of the state depicted the vibrant culture of North-East was showcased which enthralled the entire gathering.
